Our 2012 annual exhibition in the library attracted lots of visitors, and 188 voted for their favourite among the pictures on display. There was a wide range of opinions, and pictures of all different styles attracted multiple votes. The 3 pictures which received the most votes are shown here – it is very interesting to see just how varied they are in subject and in medium used.  As one visitor said, being able to vote is an opportunity to express appreciation to the artist, even though we may not make a purchase. Overall, 18 original pictures were sold during the exhibition.
